This is a KFC fast-food restaurant located in Cuba. The space is relatively compact, and the client emphasized that the majority of their business is focused on takeout, so only a limited number of seating areas are provided for dine-in customers.
Immediately upon entering through the main door, guests are greeted by a custom-designed coffee bar counter. This area serves multiple functions: it is used for preparing a variety of beverages, including coffee and soft drinks, and also acts as the primary order pickup and packaging station where finished food from the kitchen is assembled and handed to customers.
Behind the service counter lies the kitchen area. The side closest to the counter is equipped with storage units and refrigerators to keep frequently used ingredients and packaging materials within easy reach. A salad refrigerator is also installed in this zone for holding cold items and preparing side salads.
The cooking zone is outfitted with essential KFC equipment, including standard fryers and high-pressure fryers, specifically designed for efficiently cooking crispy French fries and signature fried chicken. Additionally, a griddle is installed for preparing sandwich components, such as heating buns and cooking burger patties or chicken fillets.
The layout is optimized for speed, workflow efficiency, and takeout service, ensuring quick order fulfillment while maintaining brand standards in a space-conscious design.
